Today is the day that I released my second single! The track is called ‘Catalyze’. It has been a bit more than a month since I released my first single ‘Thank You’. Be sure to check that one out as well if you haven’t already! I’m happy that I can release this one as well, as I have been working on it for some time.
Also, I’d like to give you some insights into this song. If you heard my first song, you might have found it had a bit of a sad vibe to it. In this one, I wanted to make a more optimistic vibe. The chords sound happier, and the melody is faster. Also, it features a lot of drum, making it upbeat.
The song starts out slower, building up to more instruments. A part at the beginning of the song can be listened to below.

As you can hear, the chords have a unique tone to them. The sound you are hearing is a jazz guitar. I like this sound a lot, as it sounds like a piano (which I really like the sound of) with a bit more vibration to it. You can also hear the strings and drums at the end of the audio fragment.
Later on in the song, more instruments join in. Of course, I featured some piano in the melody. Also, I used my voice as a bass. In addition to using my voice in that way, I also added some backing vocals to some parts, making the vocals sound more ‘full’. A part of the song with most instruments can be heard below.

So, this is my new song ‘Catalyze’ in a nutshell. Make sure you give it a listen on any platform (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, etc.). I hope you like it! If you do, make sure to share it with whoever you like to share it with :).
Let me know what your thoughts are. See you later!
